Welcome Mt. Baker Ranch is in the County of Whatcom, only 10 minutes from Bellingham, Washington and Interstate 5. It is east off of the Interstate on Mt. Baker Hwy 7.2 miles. It is situated across the rolling hills of Stewart Mountain with a westerly territorial view, allowing for beautiful Sunsets over the San Juan Islands and Vancouver, Canada.
Just up from the Ranch on Mt. Baker Hwy is the Mt. Baker Vineyard for wine tasting and the Nooksak Casino for those that like gambling games and slots. Mt. Baker Ski Lodge is 45 miles east from the ranch. The scenic drive up the mountain meanders up the Nooksak River Valley. Where there are many fishing spots along the Nooksak River for salmon, steelhead and trout. For those that like to hike, bike or horseback ride there are multiple groomed trails for the novice and the expert. Northwest of the Ranch it is an hour drive to the international City of Vancouver, Canada. Another 1-2 hour drive north on the Sea to Ski Hwy is the Whistler Canada sport and ski area. Also within an hour of the Ranch the ferry's to Vancouver Island are available for those who wish to visit the city of Victoria or Buschart Gardens. The city of Bellingham is where Western Washington University is located and the village of Fairhaven where the Alaska Ferry docks and sails from. Foot Ferries to the San Juan Islands and whale watching are available in Bellingham or the town of Anacortes. Mt. Baker Ranch is the perfect location to rest comfortably, bring your horse to try new trails, or hold events. It is centrally located for the Northwest traveler or outdoor enthusiasts. |
